People: Faculty Profiles: Katherine Henry

Dr. Katherine Henry

Dr. Katherine Henry joined Temple as an Assistant Professor in 2004. She has published and lectured on slavery and abolitionism in Nineteenth-Century American literature and on the conventions of the American gothic. Her current book project is Liberalism and the Rhetoric of Protection: Readings in the Nineteenth-Century Literature of Public Speech.

Professor Henry teaches courses in Nineteenth Century American and African-American literature and in Romanticism.
